Transparency means showing the basis for a claim—not just the claim itself.
Before funding opens
A campaign needs an assessed need, defined scope, an explained budget, delivery responsibilities, and clear donation terms. A compelling photograph is not a substitute for those details.
Plans and results stay distinct
Targets are labeled as targets. Estimates explain their basis. Completed work, water-test results, and follow-up findings carry their own dates and limitations. We will not count planned reach as achieved impact.
What your gift supports
Flexible gifts can fund projects and organizational operations. Project-directed gifts support their stated campaign under the terms shown before donation. FIELDWATER does not promise that 100% of donations go directly to field projects.
Monthly giving stays under your control
Flexible monthly gifts continue until changed or canceled. Project-specific monthly gifts stop when the funding need is met or the project closes; a new purpose requires a new choice. Live payment and donor-management systems are not yet connected.
When the plan changes
A project record should explain changes to scope, timing, budget, and outcomes. Before a live campaign opens, its terms must define what happens with shortfalls, excess funding, cancellation, and refunds.
People are participants, not props
Field stories should respect the people involved, seek informed permission for identifiable stories and images, and avoid manufactured suffering. Context photographs are labeled so they cannot be mistaken for FIELDWATER results.
Current organizational status
FIELDWATER INC was incorporated in Indiana on September 17, 2026. An EIN has been obtained and an application for federal 501(c)(3) recognition has been submitted. IRS recognition is pending; incorporation and an EIN do not establish federal tax-exempt status.
Public fundraising has not opened, and tax-deductibility is not currently represented. Governance documents are being finalized. Financial reports, adopted governance information, and final donation terms will be published as they become available.
